In a last-minute improvisation, I grabbed a static handheld light and used it as a makeshift flash, juggling the small light in one hand while zooming in and out to capture the evening’s highlights. It wasn’t ideal, but it got the job done.
Despite this rocky start, the show itself was a thrill to capture. Attendees, including popular personalities like Melissa Stratton, Hailey Rose, and Kendra Sunderland, arrived, strutting down the red carpet before moving into the bar area. The vibe was vibrant and social as guests grabbed drinks, mingled, and swapped stories in anticipation of the night ahead.
Soon, everyone gathered in the theater, where Ryan Pownall set the stage with his lively charisma. The format of the show was straightforward but daring: names were drawn from a hat, and those selected had to take the stage and share their craziest or most memorable sex story in front of Ryan and his panel of guest judges—Kazumi, Violet Myers, and Steiny. With each story adding fresh surprises, the combination of alcohol, bold personalities, and unfiltered storytelling had the crowd in stitches.
One standout moment came when Max Fills took to the stage, ultimately winning the night with a hilarious tale about meeting a cougar on Craigslist while he was still in high school—a story that both shocked and delighted the audience. After about an hour of raucous laughter, the show wrapped, and attendees returned to the bar for one last round of drinks before the night came to a close.
